The Dam Watershed layer displays the location of dam drainage areas in Virginia tracked by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation's (DCR) Dam Safety program. This layer also contains dam IdNumber and LegacyNumber identifiers that allow the features to be linked to their corresponding dam.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><P STYLE="margin:0 0 7 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>The Dam Watershed layer displays the location of dam’s drainage areas in Virginia tracked by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation's (DCR) Dam Safety program. This layer also contains dam IdNumber and LegacyNumber identifiers that allow the features to be linked to their corresponding dam. The Dam Watershed boundaries are generated are modeled using ArcHydro with a Virginia statewide 10 meter DEM. All data are updated as DCR time permits, there is no scheduled update or maintenance cycle for this layer. Please note that all spatial and attribute data provided are estimates and populated to the best of DCR staff knowledge and where data are available. All information obtained from DSIS is provided “as is” and no warranties, express or implied, relating to the data including, but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are made.
