Service Description: <div>At places where USGS does not have real-time monitoring equipment, high-water marks are used to measure the maximum height (stream stage) of a flood or high-water event. For more information on High Water Mark data, visit <a href='https://www.usgs.gov/water-science-school/science/high-water-marks-and-flooding' target='_blank'>here</a>. </div><div><br /></div><div>Surveyed High Water Mark data was downloaded from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) <a href='https://apps.usgs.gov/fev/data-download-portal' target='_blank'>Flood Event Viewer</a> as a CSV and converted to points. </div>
